Appeal for information following assault in Kilwinning

Officers in Kilwinning are appealing for information following the assault of a 36-year-old man.

The incident happened at a pub on Main Street around 12.50am on Sunday, 4 June, 2023.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall. He was wearing grey shorts and dark trainers with white soles, and had a tattoo on his left arm.

Detective Sergeant Andrea Templeton said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed this to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0267 of 4 June, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
