Appeal for information following assault in Kilmacolm

Officers are appealing for information following the assault of a man in Kilmacolm.

The incident happened on Lochwinnoch Road around 8.50pm on Wednesday, 14 June, 2023.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was later released.

The first suspect is described as being male, 5ft 8in tall, with short, blonde hair. He was wearing hi-vis trousers and a tool belt.

The second suspect is described as being male, 6ft 3in tall, with long, tied up blonde hair. He was wearing hi-vis trousers and a tool belt.

Both suspects were seen to exit a red van.

Detective Constable Laura Sokolov said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed this to come forward.

“Anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage which may assist officers is also asked to contact officers.”
