Appeal for information following assault and robbery in Arbroath
Police Scotland is appealing for information following a robbery and assault in Arbroath.
The incident happened around 3.15pm on Friday, 9 June, 2023, at a property in Dishlandtown Street. Two men assaulted a 23-year-old man and stole a three-figure sum of cash.
They then assaulted the man outside and were last seen heading along Dishlandtown Street, Catherine Street, and Keptie Street in Arbroath.
The victim sustained injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
One of the suspects is described as around 6ft in height and of slim build. He was wearing a black Crosshatch t-shirt, a black zipped top and bottoms, and grey trainers.
The other suspect is also described as around 6ft in height and of slim build. He was wearing a navy zipped jacked, brown trousers and black trainers with white soles and laces.
Detective Constable Lindsay Martin said: “The victim has been left injured by this incident and we are appealing for information to help trace those involved.
“At this time, the street was busy with people and traffic. If anyone has witnessed the incident or captured anything on dash-cam footage or CCTV, please contact police.”
