Appeal after man assaulted in Gourock
Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 34-year-old man in the Royal Street area of Gourock.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Thursday, 22 June, 2023. The victim was taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as being a man, aged in his late 50s or early 60s, around 5ft 9, with an average build, light brown / grey hair and a moustache.
Detective Constable Stephen Jordan, from Greenock CID, said: “We are asking anyone with information on this incident to call police on 101, quoting incident 3777 of 22 June, 2023.
