Appeal for information following robbery in Kilmarnock

Detectives in Kilmarnock are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop in the town on Wednesday, 12 July, 2023.

The incident happened around 5.15pm on Dean Street.

A man entered the premises and made off with a three figure sum of cash. He was seen going in the direction of Orchard Street, William Street and Witch Road.

He is described as being around 5ft 10in tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black jacket, light grey jogging bottoms, and black trainers.

Staff were uninjured but shaken by the incident.

Detective Constable Craig Ryan said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious or who may have potential CCTV or dashcam footage from nearby to please come forward.
