Appeal for information following crash involving motorbike and car on A82

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A82 Achtriochtan, Glencoe involving car and a motorbike.

The incident was reported to police at around 4.05 pm on Friday, 14 July, 2023 and involved red BMW motorbike and a white Audi Q5.

A 50-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The driver and three passengers in the Audi did not require medical treatment.

The road was closed for over three hours to allow enquiries to be carried out.

Policing Sergeant Calum MacAulay, Road Policing Unit said: “Our investigation continues, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant dash cam footage, to please get in touch.

“Information can be passed to Police Scotland by calling 101, and quoting reference 2520 of Friday, 14 July, 2023.”
