Appeal for information following an assault on Jamaica Street, Glasgow that occurred on Sunday 15 January 2023

Police Scotland have released two images of a man who may be able to assist them with their investigations into a serious assault in Glasgow on Sunday 15 January 2023. The incident took place on Jamacia Street in the city at around 00:20am.

The man is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, medium to heavy build and who spoke with an English accent. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black trousers, black boots and carrying a black Northface rucksack.

Detective Constable Victoria Steele said: “We encourage this man or anyone who may recognise him or has information about this incident to get in touch”.
