Appeal following assault and robbery in Glasgow

Police are appealing for information following an assault and robbery in Glasgow.

Around 1.20am on Tuesday, 4 July, 2023, two men gained entry to a property on Middleton Street, Glasgow where a 46 year old man was assaulted and a laptop taken.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as having their faces covered, wearing dark hooded tops with the hoods up, one had dark trousers and the other grey trousers and both spoke with Glaswegian accents.

Police Constable Scott Kelly from the Community Investigation Unit at Helen Street Police Office said: “We are appealing to members of the public who may have seen anyone matching these descriptions around the time of this incident.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have any other information which could assist us, including dash cam and private CCTV footage, to get in touch.”
