Appeal following alleged assault in Reid Park, Forfar

Officers in Forfar are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault in Reid Park.

A member of the public reported seeing a man punch a woman and verbally abuse her around 1pm on Tuesday, 18 July, 2023.

The man is described as in his mid 20s, with dark brown hair and wearing a navy tracksuit top.

We are keen to trace the woman to ensure she’s safe and well.

We’d also like to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
