Serious road crash on the A9 at Perth
Road Policing Officers are appealing for any witnesses after a serious road crash that took place on the A9 near to the Broxden roundabout in Perth on Tuesday, 17 January.
Around 7.10am, police were called to a report of the crash involving a white Ford Transit van, a silver Isuzu D-Max towing a trailer with cattle on board, and a black Audi A6.
Emergency services attended and two male drivers from the Isuzu and the Audi were taken to the Ninewells Hospital in Dundee to be treated for their injuries.
One cow was euthanised at the scene as a result of the crash.
The carriageway was reopened around 10am.
Constable David Gray of the Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of this crash. I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist our enquiry to contact us.
“We are also keen to obtain any dashcam from motorists driving on the road around the time of the crash.”
