Robbery – Cruachan Place, Kilmarnock
Detectives are appealing for information after a 54-year-old man was robbed in Kilmarnock on Thursday, 26 January, 2023.
Around 7.50pm, the man was threatened, pushed to the ground and robbed of personal effects by three men on Cruachan Place.
Police and ambulance attended and he was taken by ambulance to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment for his injuries. He has since been discharged.
The suspects are described as white, in their 30s and had Liverpudlian accents. The first man had a ginger beard and was wearing glasses, jeans and a jacket. The other two men were wearing dark tracksuits with one being described as having short black hair and stubble.
Detective Sergeant Jamie Carruth, Police Scotland, said:
“Our investigation is continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this robbery and to trace the three men responsible.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries in the area and gathering CCTV images. Local additional police patrols will be carried out.
