Man found injured in Alexandria
Detectives are appealing for information following an incident in Alexandria.
Around 11.05pm on Monday 23 January 2023, police received a report that a 45-year-old was injured in Halkett Crescent, Alexandria. It’s unclear how he sustained his injuries, but one line of inquiry is that he may have been struck by a vehicle. A blue coloured vehicle was seen in the area prior to the man being injured.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Door-to-door enquiries have been carried out and officers are gathering relevant CCTV for review.
Detective Constable Colin Nichol said: “I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time to contact us, any small piece of information could be pivotal to our investigation. I would also ask anyone with recording devices to check their images as there could be footage which could assist our inquiries. It’s important we establish exactly what has happened to this man and why.”
