Man charged in connection with vehicle break-ins at car parks in Glasgow
A man has been arrested in connection with a number of vehicle break-ins at car parks in Glasgow city centre.
Following enquiries a warrant was executed at an address in the Scotstounhill area on Wednesday, 4 January, 2023.
The 38-year-old has been charged in connection with these crimes and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 5 January, 2023.
Sergeant Andrew Muir of Stewart Street Police Station said: “I would like to thank everyone who came forward to report these crimes. Information from the public is vital to us as we work to reduce and detect crime and improve the safety and well-being of our communities.
“I’d also remind everyone of the importance of keeping valuables safe, property out of sight and vehicles secured when parked or left unattended.
“Anyone who thinks they may be witnessing suspicious activity or a crime being committed call police on 101 or, in the case of an emergency, 999.”
