Man and woman charged following drugs recoveries in Paisley

A 31-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following drugs recoveries in Paisley on Thursday, 12 January, 2023.

Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £74,000, a quantity of Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £1,400, and around £2,000 in cash were recovered.

The 31-year-old man and the 39-year-old woman are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.

Constable Steven Gorry said: “We continue to work to bring those responsible for the supply of illegal substances to justice.

“We encourage anyone with information or concerns about drugs to get in touch via 101 or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
