Detectives are carrying out enquiries following a sexual assault in Fintry, Dundee
Around 7.25pm on Wednesday, 4 January, 2023, a 46-year-old woman was in Powrie Park, near to Cheviot Crescent, when a man approached her and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is 6ft tall, middle aged, heavy/athletic build with broad shoulders. He was wearing a black balaclava, black zip-up hoodie, black jogging bottoms and black and white trainers. He made off in the direction of Jack Martin Way.
Officers are gathering relevant CCTV footage and reviewing it for any additional information.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around this time, particularly a dog walker and a man on an electric bike who were seen in the park.
Detective Inspector Graeme Wishart said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have any information about this incident to get in touch. If anyone saw or noticed anything suspicious, or has any information on the suspect, please do get in touch with us. In particular, anyone with a dash cam is asked to check the footage as it may have captured images which could assist the investigation.”
