Two men arrested following drugs recovery in Broughty Ferry
On Monday, 30 January, officers searched a house in the Broughty Ferry area and recovered a Cannabis Cultivation with an estimated street value of four hundred thousand pounds (£400,000).
A 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. They were to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 31 January. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries in the area following this recovery.
Inspector Keith Anderson said: “Tackling illegal drugs and removing this from our communities continues to be a priority for us.
“We rely on the support of the public to build intelligence on drug-related issues so that we can act on their concerns. I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police through 101.
