Man arrested for robberies in Greenock

A man has been arrested for robbery in Greenock.  

The first incident was reported to police on 3 February, 2023, when officers received a report of a robbery at a shop in Lynedoch Street. A second incident occurred on 3 February when a robbery was reported from East Crawford Street. A third incident was reported to police on 4 February 2023 in Lynedoch Street. 

Following enquiries, officers arrested and charged a 40-year-old man. He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 7 February, 2023.
