Man charged in connection with assault in Prestwick

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on a woman in Prestwick.

The incident happened around 1.30am on Sunday, 13 November on Main Street near to Prestwick Cross.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the man will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court in due course.
