CCTV appeal following assault, Mitchell Street, Glasgow

Police Scotland has released a CCTV image of a man officers believe may be able to assist with their investigation into an assault in Glasgow.

The incident happened on Mitchell Street, near to Tingle Bar, around 3.05am on Sunday, 18 December, 2022.

The man (pictured) is described as white, with dark hair, wearing a black long-sleeved top, with black joggers rolled up at the bottom and white trainers.

Constable Paul Craven, from Baird Street Police Station, said: “We believe this man may be able to assist with our enquiries and would urge him or anyone who has information relating to the incident, to contact police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0661 of Sunday, 18 December, 2022, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.
