Appeal for information following assault and attempted robbery, Elderslie
Officers in Renfrewshire are appealing for information following an assault and attempted robbery in Elderslie.
Police were called to Main Road around 3.15pm on Thursday, 2 February, 2023, following reports a man had assaulted a 43-year-old woman and tried to gain access to a vehicle.
There were no injuries and the man made off when passers-by stopped to help.
He is described as being in his late teens to early 20s, slim, 5 ft 8 and was wearing dark clothing.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, believes they saw the man around the time of the incident or anyone with relevant dash cam footage of the area at the time to contact them.
