Following reports of several thefts from vehicles, a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with outstanding warrants and cautioned and charged in connection with shoplifting.
After several shoplifting offences from a shopping centre, a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged.
Detective Inspector Scott Carswell of CID said: “The aim of this operation was to ensure that Dundee city centre remains a safe place to work, live and visit, along with removing those involved in criminal activity, anti-social behaviour and drug dealing from the streets.
“We have seen first-hand the devastation and destruction that drugs bring, and the public, retailers and licensed premises continually tell us that tackling this type of crime is important to them.
“We are determined to make the city safer, and the more drugs and drug dealers we take out of circulation, the more we lessen the impact of this illicit trade on our communities.
“Our work continues with our partner agencies, and along with the support that we get from the public we will continue to target them.
“They are not welcome. No one should tolerate drug dealing where they live. If there is drug dealing, going on in your area – tell us. I want to reassure the residents of Dundee that we will act on any information you provide to us.
“Protecting our vulnerable members of the community is also vital, and officers signed posted those in need to the support they required.
“We have received positive engagement from both the public and retailers, and I am confident this operation will inform the policing service we deliver in the future.”
Anyone with information regarding drug dealing or criminality should contact Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any officer. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111.
