Images released in connection with enquiries into behaviour at Celtic v Lazio match

Police Scotland has released images of a man officers believe may have information which could assist an investigation into an incident of culpable and reckless behaviour within Celtic Park in Glasgow.

The incident happened during the UEFA Champions League fixture between Celtic and S.S Lazio on Wednesday, 4 October, 2023.

The incident relates to the use of pyrotechnic devices within the stadium.

The man is described as white, in his mid-30s, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with the word ‘Blakely’ written on the front.

Constable Aynsley McIntyre, of the Greater Glasgow Football Enquiry Unit, said: “I would urge this man or anyone who has information relating to this incident to make contact with the police.

“Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via the 101 non-emergency telephone number, quoting incident number 2247 of Wednesday, 4 October, 2023, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
