Appeal for witnesses following serious assault in Glasgow City Centre
Officers are appealing for information after a 36-year-old man was assaulted and injured in Glasgow City Centre.
The incident happened on Howard Street near to Jamaica Street, Glasgow around 12.20am on Sunday, 17 December, 2023.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A man described as wearing a beanie style hat with a bauble design, blue hooded jacket, blue denim trousers and tan coloured boots was seen running from Howard Street into Adams Court Lane.
Detective Constable Matthew McCann, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early stage and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to get in touch.
“As the incident happened close to a road we are also appealing for drivers with dashcams to review footage to establish if their cameras have captured the incident.
