Appeal for information following robbery in East Kilbride

We are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop in East Kilbride.

The incident happened around 4.30pm on Thursday, 28 December, 2023 on Cornwall Way. A quantity of alcohol was taken.

The suspect is described as being a man with grey hair, around 5ft 4in tall, and of medium build. He was wearing dark clothing, a snood over his face, a dark cap and trainers with a black sole.

Detective Constable Gerry Hattie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

“We would also ask anyone with information which could assist our enquiries to get in touch.”
