Appeal for information following robbery and assault in Glasgow
We are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in Glasgow.
Between 12am and 2am on Wednesday, 13 December, 2023, two men forced their way into a property on
Moraine Drive in Glasgow. A 51-year-old man was assaulted before the men took him to various ATMs in the area in an attempt to withdraw cash from them.
No cash was given over and the men left the area with a bank card. The injured man attended hospital for treatment.
The first suspect is described as being a white man between 25 and 35 years old, with dark hair. He was wearing a black bubble jacket, light coloured bottoms and trainers. The second man was wearing a black jacket, black bottoms and dark trainers.
Detective Constable Fraser McGill of Glasgow CID said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or suspicious activity to come forward."
