Appeal for information after man assaulted and robbed in Glasgow

We are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in Glasgow.

Around 2.50am on Thursday, 14 December, 2023, a man and woman assaulted the man on Argyle Street before making off with his phone.

The man attended hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Andrew Reid of Glasgow CID said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

“We would also ask anyone who has any information which would assist our enquiries to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0368 of Thursday, 14 December, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
