Appeal following wilful fire raising in Lenzie

Detectives in Kirkintilloch are appealing for information following the wilful fireraising of a vehicle in the Crosshill Road area of Lenzie.

The grey Skoda Superb had been parked on the roadside, near the junction with Boghead, when it was set alight, around 9.40pm on Monday, 4 December, 2023.

Detective Constable Mark Soutter, from Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Enquiries into this fire remain ongoing, but it is believed to have been wilful.

“We’re asking anyone with information to come forward, including if you live or were traveling in the area and may have seen any suspicious activity overnight.
