Appeal following serious crash on the A96 at Auldearn
Road Policing Officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A96 at Auldearn.
The incident happened around 4.40pm on Friday, 15 December, 2023 and involved a Black BMW Estate, A red Toyota Yaris and a green Toyota Hilux towing a trailer.
Emergency services attended and a man, aged 74 and two women, aged 51 and 74, from the Toyota Yaris were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.
One woman, aged 51, is described as being in a serious but stable condition and the other woman, aged 74, is described as being in a critical condition.
The road was closed while enquiries took place and re-opened around 1am on Saturday, 16 December, 2023.
Sergeant David Miller said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or who was in the area around the time to contact us.
“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation, please get in touch.”
