Appeal following serious crash in Stenhousemuir
Road policing officers are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Stenhousemuir.
The incident involved a car and a child pedestrian and occurred on King Street around 4.20pm on Friday, 29 December, 2023.
The 11-year-old male was taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.
The 57-year-old male driver of the black Vauxhall Astra involved wasn't injured.
The road re-opened shortly before 5pm the same evening.
Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
"We are also particularly keen to trace any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time it occurred.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2380 of 29 December."
