Appeal following break-ins in Ayr

Police are appealing for information after three break-ins to properties in Ayr.

Between 3am and 6am on Saturday, 23 December, 2023, two properties on Racecourse View and a third on Cambusdoon Drive, were broken into.

Entry was forced to all the properties and jewellery and designer clothing items were taken.

Police Constable David Lawson from Ayr Police Office said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and while we will keep an open mind we are treating these incidents as linked.

"I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious vehicle or person around this area during the time or who was in the local areas and may have any dashcam or private CCTV footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
