Appeal following assault in Old Kilpatrick

A 66-year-old woman was walking her dog on a public footpath on Freelands Crescent, Old Kilpatrick around 8.20pm on Monday, 4 December, 2023.

A man pushed the woman to the ground before leaving the area.

The man is described as being white and of slim build and was wearing dark smart trousers and a black hooded jacket with blue stripes underneath both armpits. He was also in possession of a black and beige husky dog.

Constable Stuart McKay said: “I am appealing for the help of the public to trace the suspect.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken with officers or anyone who thinks they may have seen the man to get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 0654 of 4 December.”
