Pedestrian injured in a road crash in Dundee

Officers are continuing enquiries following a road crash involving a pedestrian and car in Dundee.

Around 3.50pm on Friday 11 August, 2023, police were made aware of the collision which happened on Level 4 of the Overgate Car Park. A 78-year-old woman was injured in the incident. Several people came to assist and an ambulance was called. She was taken to Ninewells Hospital and has since been released.  

The driver of the vehicle, a Volkswagen Tiguan, was uninjured but left badly shaken. 

The area was busy with shoppers and other motorists and officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, who hasn't yet spoken to them, to get in touch. If you have dash cam equipment, please check your footage. Any small piece of information could assist officers in their enquiries.
