Appeal following overnight robbery in Larkfield, Greenock
Detectives are appealing following a robbery at a property in the Fife Road area of Greenock.
The incident happened around 00.05am on Wednesday, 9 August, when two men broke into the property and threatened the occupants.
They made off with a three-figure sum of cash and are believed to have left in a light-coloured vehicle.
The first man is described as speaking with a local accent, of slim build and was wearing a black tracksuit with the hood up and a dark face mask.
The second is described as of slim to medium build, around 5’11” in height, had a local accent and wearing a dark tracksuit with a hood up and a mask.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Henderson said: “Fortunately no one was seriously injured however both occupants were left extremely distressed by this despicable crime within their own home.
“Our enquiries to trace these men are ongoing and I am asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or has private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation to get in touch.
