Appeal following assault in Glasgow

Police in Glasgow are appealing for information following an assault in the Lennoxtown area.

Around 9.20pm on Thursday, 10 August, 2023, a 37-year-old man was on Main Street, Lennoxtown when he was assaulted.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.

The suspect is described as male, wearing bright coloured shorts and no top.

Detective Constable Vikki Reid said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which may assist us to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have any dash cam footage to contact us.”
