Update – Death of Man – South Methven Street, Perth.

An 18-year-old man been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 20-year-old man in South Methven Street, Perth on Saturday, 8 April 2023.

Around 9.40pm on Saturday, 8 April, 2023, police were called to a report of a man being seriously injured in South Methven Street, Perth.

Emergency services attended and a 20-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 17-year-old man was arrested but released pending further enquiries.

The 18-year-old is expected to appear at Perth Sherif Court on Tuesday, 11 April 2023 and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
