Two men have been arrested for drugs offences
Two men have been arrested following a police operation in Dundee on Monday, 3 April, 2023.
Around 9am, officers from Operation Argonite, entered a flat in Abbotsford Place, Dundee and seized a quantity of drugs. The seizure, believed to be heroin and cocaine, has an estimated street value of £1,800. Officers also recovered a quantity of cash and other items relating to the supply of drugs.
Two men, aged 27 and 30, were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They were released on an undertaking and will appear at court at a later date.
Constable Fraser Walker said: “We all know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and this operation demonstrates our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in Dundee.
“Information from the public about drug crime is crucial to our investigations and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs within the local community, to contact us.”
Operation Argonite is a team of officers targeting those involved in the supply of controlled drugs across Dundee.
