Man charged in connection with licensed premised break-ins in Kilmarnock
A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a series of break-ins to licensed premises in Kilmarnock.
The five incidents took place between January and April 2023. The accused appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Saturday, 8 April, 2023, where he was remanded.
Inspector Iain Farmer, of East Ayrshire Police, said: “Our teams work tirelessly to target those responsible for breaking in to the property of others. These particular crimes had an effect on the local licensed trade and on those individuals who are trying to provide these facilities for the community.
“Police Scotland will not accept this sort of activity.”
