Fatal road crash - A85, Dalmally, Argyll
Officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash on the A85, Dalmally, Argyll.
Around 2pm on Friday, 31 March, police received a report of a crash involving a red Audi Q2 and a grey Ford Mondeo.
Emergency services attended and the female driver, aged 69, and the male passenger, aged 70, of the Audi were pronounced dead at the scene.
The three male occupants of the Ford Mondeo were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for around 8 ½ hours to allow for investigations to be carried out.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the two people who have died.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was travelling in the area and may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
