CCTV issued as part of investigation into incident Old Firm match

Police Scotland has released an image of a man they believe may hold information which might assist in relation to an incident of culpable and reckless conduct which occurred at the Rangers v Celtic football match at Ibrox on Monday, 2 January, 2023.

The man is described as being aged between mid to late 40s with short, dark-brown hair. He was wearing a blue Stone Island jacket, black leather gloves and had a checked scarf around his neck.

Police Constable Daniel Brady, Greater Glasgow Division, said: “We would urge this man or anyone who knows him to please make contact with us. I would also ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or anyone with information relating to the incident, to please speak to officers via 101, quoting reference 0922 of 2 January, 2023.

“Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
