Appeal for information following wilful fire-raising near Kintore

Police are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising near Kintore on Thursday, 30 March, 2023.

Around 12.25am, officers were called to the A96 near the Broomhill Roundabout, where four vans were found to be on fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.

Detective Constable Chris Cran said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist us to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0054 of 30 March.

“Alternatively, details can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
