Appeal following crash involving child in Dumbarton
Officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a two-year-old girl and a car in Dumbarton.
The incident happened on Napier Crescent in Dumbarton around 8.30pm on Sunday, 9 April, 2023, when the child was struck by a car, which failed to stop.
She was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow and later released.
The car is believed to be a silver or light coloured, small hatchback car.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out and we are now appealing to the public to help identify the driver and vehicle involved.
Sergeant Archie McGuire, of Argyll & West Dunbartonshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I would urge anyone who may have information to come forward.
“In addition, if you have dash-cam that could help with our investigation then please contact us.”
