Woman named following fatal crash on A725 Bellshill Bypass

Police Scotland can confirm the name of the woman who died following a crash on the A725 Bellshill Bypass on Tuesday, 30 August, 2022, as 66-year-old Shamim Rashid from Bellshill.

Sergeant Gemma Blackadder said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Shamim.

“Our enquiries into the crash are ongoing and anyone with information or dashcam footage should contact officers on 101 quoting incident 2323 of 30 August, 2022.”
