High-value Theft of Mountain Bikes in Ettrickbridge
Officers in Galashiels are appealing for information after a break in and theft of high-value mountain bikes from Ettrickbridge, Selkirk.
Six mountain bikes were stolen from a property between 9pm on Tuesday, 6 September and 9.30am on Wednesday, 7 September.
The bikes are described as one black and white Saracen Myst downhill bike, two Santa Cruz Megatower bikes, one in grey and one in green/blue, one grey Orbea Occam, one grey Trek Fuel 9.8 and one custom dirt jump bike with a green frame and black decals on the top tube.
Officers are now asking anyone who was driving in the area around that time to check dashcam footage.
Police enquiries into the theft are ongoing and Police are appealing to people to think back and consider anything suspicious around the time of the theft and contact them.
Police would also be keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time and may have dashcam or private CCTV footage.
