Appealing following robbery in the Woodlands area of Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information following a robbery in Arlington Place, in the Woodlands area of Glasgow.
The incident happened around 9pm on Sunday, 18 September, when a woman was in the common close area of a property and approached by another woman, pushed and had her purse taken.
A female suspect is sought. She is described as white, aged 35 to 40, of heavy build with blonde hair. She was wearing a white t-shirt, black leggings, a black jacket, a black baseball cap and a white surgical mask.
There was also a man with the suspect and he is described as white, aged 35 to 40 years, of slim build and had short blonde hair.
Detective Constable Lee McIntyre said: “Fortunately the woman was not hurt but she was left extremely shaken by what happened.
“Enquiries are being carried out door-to-door and officers are also reviewing CCTV footage.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area, particularly Arlington Place and Ashley Street, and may have seen this man and woman, or anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch.
“Likewise, if you have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation then please contact us.”
