Appeal following theft of high value mountain bikes in Innerleithen

Officers in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information after a number of high value mountain bikes were stolen from a low loader in Innerleithen.

The incident happened on St Ronans Terrace overnight between 11pm on Sunday, 18 September, and 9am on Monday, 19 September, 2022.

Detective Constable Andrew Forsyth, of Galashiels CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or saw anything suspicious in the area.

“Likewise we are keen to speak to anyone who may be offered these kind of bikes for sale.”

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0787 of 19 September.
