Appeal following disturbance and wilful fireraising in Bonhill, Alexandria
Officers in West Dunbartonshire are appealing for information following a disturbance and wilful fireraising in Bonhill, Alexandria.
The incidents happened around 10.35pm on Saturday, 24 September, 2022, on Elmbank Drive.
Emergency services attended following reports of a disturbance on the street and a grey Nissan Juke being set on fire.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no-one was injured.
The suspects are described as male, possibly in their early 20s – two of them were wearing all dark clothing and one was wearing a dark top and light-coloured jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Adam McCreery, of Clydebank CID, said: “We believe these incidents are linked and our enquiries into both are ongoing.
“Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incidents and witnessed what happened or saw something suspicious to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone with private CCTV in the area or who was driving in the area and has dash-cam footage that could assist our investigation to contact officers.
“Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 4057 of 24 September.”
