Elderly woman injured in road crash in Greenock
Officers at the Road Policing Complex in Govan are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was struck by a car in Union Street, Greenock on Thursday, 27 October 2022.
Around 11.05 am on Thursday, 27 October, the 90-year-old woman was struck by a Suzuki Splash car on Union Street, near to Kelly Street in Greenock.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance where hospital staff describe her condition as life threatening.
The 90-year-old driver of the car was not physically injured.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans at the Road Policing Complex at Helen Street, Govan is appealing for witnesses to the incident. He would also like to hear from anyone who has captured the incident on CCTV or has dashcam footage.
