Appeal for information following an assault in Causeyside Street in Paisley
Detectives are appealing for information after two men were seriously assaulted in Causeyside Street, Paisley on Sunday, 13 November, 2022.
Around 1.50am two men aged 18 and 19 years were seriously assaulted following a disturbance on Causeyside Street near to its junction with New Street.
Officers attended and the two injured men were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where they were treated for their injuries, then later released.
The three men police want to trace in connection with this incident are described as:
A white male aged between 23-27 years of age with dark-coloured hair and wearing black clothing.
A black male aged between 23-27 years of age. He was wearing black clothing and white trainers.
A further male described as wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit.
Detective Constable Paul Fanning said: “Our investigation is continuing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this disturbance to contact us.
“A blue Skoda car - possibly a taxi - stopped at the scene during the incident. We are working to trace the driver of that car as they may hold information that will assist our enquiry.
