Appeal after motorcyclist injured in Aberdeen crash
Road policing officers are appealing for information after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Aberdeen.
The incident happened around 6.55pm on Thursday, 29 September on the A96 Great Northern Road and involved a black Triumph motorcycle and a silver Toyota CHR car.
The 35-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
No one else was injured.
The road was closed to allow for a collision investigation to be carried out and re-opened around 3.10am on Friday, 30 September.
Constable Matthew Lawton of the Road Policing Unit in Inverurie said: “Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or other footage from the area around the time of the collision.
“Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting reference 2847 of 29 September.”
