Sentencing of Jordan McKinlay
A 30-year-old man who was convicted of drug trafficking offences has been jailed for three years and nine months.
Jordan McKinlay helped to transport £450,000 worth of cocaine from England to Scotland and was arrested on Saturday 18 April, 2020.
He was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday 9 November, 2022 having earlier pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Detective Chief Inspector Steven Elliot said: “This was a co-ordinated effort to bring large quantities of illegal and harmful substances into Scotland.
"This sentence sends a clear message for anyone who is involved in the supply of illegal substances that this will not be tolerated in our communities.
"Jordan McKinlay will now have to deal with the consequences of his actions.
